A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a recent disclosure of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.
The Kennedy Library Announces the Loss
Her passing was confirmed in a online announcement by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Insight into the Illness
As detailed in a recently published piece late last year, Schlossberg revealed that she had been found to have AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
This condition is a cancer that affects the bone marrow and blood cells.
Those close to her is seeking space as they cope with their sorrow.
