I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
